
In 2007, Australia ground into its eleventh year of rulership by the arch conservative Liberal Party, led with sewer-rat cunning by John Howard. And while there had been early suggestions for this Tango to be a 'Seven Deadly Sins' issue, the more pressing matter seemed to be to give comic book makers a chance to vent their spleen on this dire government or indeed whichever governments they thought needed a serve.

The theme, 'Love and Sedition' was the most challenging in the Tango series thus far, but also provoked the best collection of stories up to this point.
